Rick Ellis - CPM, Business Development Consultant

Rick Ellis is a noted consultant and speaker who has served the apartment industry for more than 27 years. His property management career began as an on-site assistant manager/leasing consultant with additional responsibilities as groundskeeper on the weekends!

Seeing a need for "executive-level" property management operations and marketing consulting, Rick formed Ellis Consulting Group. For more than 24 years Rick has provided an array of services to the apartment industry including special problem consulting, market comparable studies, feasibility studies, and his company's "Marketing Observations and Recommendations" reports. Rick's company also specializes in "off-site property management," under the name Ellis HomeSource with a portfolio of more than 150 single-family homes, duplexes, condos, and small clusters of residential units. ECG is one of the first off-site management companies to earn the prestigious AMO (Accredited Management Organization) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Rick hold the CPM, Certified Property Manager, designation and his company, ECG, holds the AMO, Accredited Management Organization, designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Rick earned a B. S. in 1977 and a MA in 1979 from Abilene Christian University. He holds a Texas Real Estate Broker License and is an Eagle Scout.

Loretta Taylor - General Manager

Loretta Taylor started with J. Ellis Apartment Locators in 2001 as an assistant to Rick Ellis in the running of his locator company as well as his Property Management portfolio and his consulting projects. She has been a very important and integral part of Rick’s success, as well as in the continual growth and prosperities of his companies. Loretta is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of four thriving locator offices, a huge selection of single family and multi family dwellings, and puts together countless leasing seminars and market analysis surveys nationwide for Mr. Ellis.

Some of Loretta’s other numerous responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Public Relations and Payroll for all of the Ellis Companies. Although her time is more limited these days, Loretta’s first priority still lays with Rick and his marketing, consulting, training, and contract leasing company as well as the Property Management Company. Loretta is happily married and is not only a mom, but a very cool Grandma as well. Cinner Lyons - Internet Marketing Coordinator

Cinner Lyons is one of the more experienced J. Ellis folks in the apartment industry with 29+ years in this specialized business. She started out as a leasing agent onsite and worked her way up to assistant manager of a luxury property in the Dallas area. Cinner chose the career of an Apartment Locator in 1980 when apartment locators were a new breed of real estate people on the Dallas Ft. Worth horizon. She has been there, done that and is so excited in this new venture of how she can help the Internet become the future of J. Ellis.

Cinner is in charge of the Internet Division, which consists of a team of locators whose main objective is to take Internet leads and put them into apartments. She also oversees the updating and upkeep of the J. Ellis locator software known as ‘LUCKY’ as well as training and writing ‘LUCKY’ procedures. Cinner is in charge of all computer related issues, and handles all the websites and emails of the J. Ellis Locators. Besides being the technical guru, Cinner also helps with the creative side of the J. Ellis agents in their PR efforts.

Cinner graduated from Mercer University in Macon, GA with a BA and was a double major in Communications and Sociology. Being a Wisconsin ‘Cheese Head’, she is an avid Packer fan and is so happy one out of her three boys followed suit and is a huge Packer Backer. She doesn’t say, “Remember the Alamo”, but rather “Remember the Ice Bowl!”
